VIPER GUARD AND WRIGHTSURE TO HOST JOINT CONFERENCE 

Two of the leading names in commercial vehicle security and insurance are joining forces to help guide fleet operators through the jungle of new regulations regarding lone worker safety and corporate manslaughter.

Safety and security equipment retailer Viper Guard and specialist transport insurance broker Wrightsure Insurance Group are to host a one-day conference at Viper Guard's home base, Warwick HRI at Wellesbourne near Warwick (J15 M40), on Thursday 30th October. The event will feature presentations from the industry's top legal and safety experts, and leading safety and security specialists have booked exhibition stands.

The conference – Attacks on Drivers and Corporate Manslaughter - takes place against the background of the International Road Transport Union's shock survey of attacks on drivers, and Frank Heinrich-Jones of Wrightsure will present the results of the IRU survey.John Smith, head of the Crime Department at leading transport solicitors Ashford's, will speak on the legal and regulatory issues relating to corporate manslaughter.
