VIPER GUARD HELPS CUT FUEL BILLS

Commercial vehicle safety and security specialist Viper Guard has added two new products to its extensive range to help hauliers in their battle against rising fuel bills.

Hi-Clone is a radically innovative fuel efficiency device that is designed to be fitted quickly and easily into the engine's air induction system. Using a fan-shaped array of baffles, it spins the air as it enters the engine, thus ensuring more complete combustion and cutting fuel use by 5-15% and engine emissions. A test carried out on a Mercedes Sprinter van yielded a cut in CO2 emitted by 26.19%.
And as well as cutting fuel consumption, Hi-Clone has a host of welcome side-effects: a smoother ride, fewer gear-changes, improved torque, quieter running, and reduced piston slap and scuff all cut maintenance costs for the operator and make the driver's job easier and less stressful.
The Hi-Clone comes in three lengths - 25mm, 40mm, and 70mm - and a complete range of diameters to suit all engines.
Diesel Dye from Fuel Theft Solutions will also cut fuel consumption - by deterring diesel thieves. The dye, which can be added either to the operator's stock tank or by the driver at the roadside, makes it easy for Police and Customs officials to identify stolen fuel and deters unscrupulous operators from buying it from the thieves.
It's fully miscible and doesn't harm the engine - and at a proportion of one part dye to 40,000 parts diesel, it only takes a drop to protect a whole tank of precious diesel.
