The results of the survey on gas attacks on drivers, sent to almost 3000 contacts are as follows: 48% were aware of the problem and very concerned 21% didnt know that there was a problem 9% had been victim of a gas attack 4% had been attacked more than once 29% knew someone else who had been attacked 67% of attacks took place in Europe 25% were parked in motorway service areas 25% were parked in laybys 25% were parked in lorry parks Surprisingly only 32% used a gas alarm with 9% considering buying one. |
